The Department of Commerce needed a secure and scalable solution to deliver relevant content about their mission and programs to a growing audience. The information that the CLDP distributes is constantly changing based on policy and world events, so there bringing updates in-house was critical.

BrowserMedia implemented BrowserCMS in conjunction with Rock Creek Creative, a BrowserCMS partner company. The website was redesigned with a professional image and streamlined information architecture. Custom portlets were used to display CLDP "Success Stories" via BrowserCMS.

The CLDP is now able to manage their online presence completely in-house. The workflow is divided among internal staff so that specific subject matter experts can maintain various content on the site in real-time. The CLDP site now has a modern and professional appearance, and can quickly serve up pages to a rapidly growing audience.
